Privacy Policy — Invoice Manager

Invoice Manager ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Invoice Manager mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Email address — used for account authentication via Firebase Auth
Invoice and client data — business data you enter manually (names, addresses, tax IDs)
Expense data — financial records you create in the app
Profile information — name, company details, logo (optional)
Device token (FCM) — used for push notifications only
Anonymized usage data — screen views and feature interactions via Firebase Analytics
Crash reports — device information and error logs via Firebase Crashlytics
Beta feedback data — name, role, device model, rating, and written feedback voluntarily submitted by invited beta testers via the feedback form

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide core app functionality (managing invoices, clients, expenses, and contracts)
To send push notifications about invoice status and due dates
To generate PDF invoices and reports for your business use
To analyze anonymized usage patterns and improve app stability
To detect, diagnose, and fix technical issues
To collect and review voluntary beta tester feedback for product improvement purposes

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage). Data is protected by Firebase security rules ensuring that only the authenticated account owner can access their specific data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app performance. These services collect anonymized data. You can opt out of analytics collection via your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

5. Beta Testing Program

Participants in our closed beta testing program may submit feedback through a dedicated web form. Submission is entirely voluntary and only accessible to invited testers using a private access code. The following data may be collected through the feedback form:

Name — as entered by the tester (may be a nickname)
Role — self-selected category (e.g. Developer, Designer)
Rating and written feedback — used exclusively for internal product development
Device model — optional, used for bug reproduction
Bug descriptions — optional, used to identify and fix issues

Beta feedback is stored in Google Firebase Firestore and is only visible to the development team and other verified beta testers on the feedback page. It is not shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only processed by our service providers (Google Firebase for infrastructure and Resend for optional email delivery) to ensure app functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

Access and export your data at any time within the app.
Correct or update your profile and business information.
Request the permanent deletion of your account.
Request removal of any beta feedback you have submitted by contacting us.

9. Data Deletion & Account Removal

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To request account deletion, please follow these steps:

Method 1: Send an email to invoicemanager.support@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Upon receiving your request via email, we will verify your identity and permanently delete your account, including all stored clients, invoices, expenses, and files from our Firebase database within 7 business days. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, all personal and financial data is removed as described in Section 9. Beta feedback is retained for the duration of the testing program and deleted upon request. Anonymized analytics may be retained by Google per their standard policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
